Coin Through Soda Can - Criss Angel

On an episode of Criss Angel’s MindFreak an impressive trick was performed whereupon a borrowed coin is signed, vanished and produced within a can of Coke. This DVD released by Criss describes and teaches how to perform this extremely impressive trick.

The effect is simple yet breathtaking: a spectator is asked to find a quarter (or ten pence piece here in England) and sign it with a marker. The performer then takes a regular can of fizzy drink and hits the coin against the bottom of the can whereupon it vanishes. At this point the coin can be heard rattling against the inside of the can, and when the can is opened the signed coin is found within.

The DVD is well produced, and begins with showing the effect as performed on MindFreak. This is followed by a step-by-step instruction performed by the tricks creator Wayne Houchin. Criss is present and adds his own insight into the trick and explains variations that he introduced to make the trick his own.

I believe that this is one of the most impressive impromptu tricks around. All items used in the trick can be borrowed, no switches required, and the result can be breathtaking. The skill level of it is not particularly high, and I really would recommend buying this DVD.
