Derren Ill

Derren Brown has had to pull out of his Hastings performance of Mind Reader due to losing his voice through a virus. He’s also had to miss some book signings. Here’s a copy of his official apology:

Dear anyone who booked for Hastings,
I’m so sorry to get ill, it had been brewing for a while and I had absolutely no voice that night. Because of this, I am having to skip signings for a few nights until my throat is better. Please don’t email asking if I’ll be signing on such-and-such a night, there’ll be no way of knowing until the time comes.
I believe we’re aiming to do an extra date at Hastings on April 17th, this should be confirmed very soon.
Meawhile, sorry to anyone else hoping to catch me for signing, and to anyone whose evening was seriously buggered up by us having to pull the show.
Meanwhile, I must concentrate on getting though the current shows… And I hope you enjoy them.
