Sorcerer’s Apprentice

Madcap magician Max Somerset plays the Sorcerer in CBBC’s new kids television series “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” (Monday 9 July 5.00-5.30pm BBC ONE).

The BBC press release states “It’s the beginning of an exciting magical journey for 14 lucky children. The Sorcerer is looking for an Apprentice and has hand-picked seven boys and seven girls to attend his magic school, where they will compete with each other for the title of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Last seen on Sky One’s Max Magic, Max Somerset is one of the UK’s most accomplished magicians, so the show should provide interesting viewing.
